Masters News


The Masters section of Chelmsford City Swimming Club is a friendly and sociable group catering for all adult swimmers whether you’re a keen competitor or just interested in keeping fit. Our qualified and experienced coaches adapt the training sessions to your needs, and are always there to give helpful tips to improve your technique.

There’s no pressure to compete, but if it’s something you’re interested in there are lots of events to try from local to Regional and National competitions. Masters compete in five-year age bands plus a junior masters section: 18-24 years, 25-29 years, 30-34 years, 35-39 years etc. There’s no upper age limit.

Training Times Masters

Monday                      8.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m.

Wednesday                8.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m.

Friday                          8.00 p.m. – 9.00 p.m.

Sunday                        4.00 p.m. – 5.00 p.m.

All sessions take place at New Hall School. You can choose how many sessions you do per week, and your membership fee will depend on your chosen number of sessions.
