About our Club

Chelmsford City Swimming Club is an ambitious, successful and friendly Club that is unusual in offering all of the major aquatic sports with the exception of Diving. We are focused on competitive success in Swimming, Masters, Water Polo and Artistic Swimming but also offer sessions providing for those who want to train for fitness rather than for competition.

Across all of our three major disciplines we have teams and swimmers that have had success at County, Regional and National level, and have developed swimmers and water polo players who have gone on to represent England and Great Britain.

We use pools across Chelmsford, including: New Hall School, Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre and at Moulsham High School, but our members are drawn from all across mid-Essex.

We offer training for all age groups, from seven to those that remain physically active in their seventies and eighties. We are professionally run by active volunteers, and for those that feel their enjoyment of aquatic sport is enhanced by becoming actively involved there are ongoing opportunities to support the work and organisation of our Club.

If you are interested in any of our activities and want to know more please email us at info@chelmsfordcityswimmingclub.org.uk

At Chelmsford City Swimming Club our goal is to help our members achieve their personal goals in all sections of the club. This could be by providing support to those who want to swim for fitness with a swimming programme that is challenging but achievable or for those that want to compete at the highest level of their chosen sport from competitive swimming, synchronised swimming or waterpolo.

“One of my greatest achievements is seeing the swimmers from our Club exceed their expectations and realise their goals.” Sean Eveleigh, Head Coach
