Chelmsford City Swimming Club is a friendly and welcoming, fun, ambitious and successful Aquatics Club. We are unique, in the fact we offer not one but a number of Aquatic sports, Swimming, Masters, Water Polo and Artistic Swimming as well as providing sessions for those who wish to train purely for fitness.

We have teams and swimmers that compete with great success at County, Regional, National and British level, and have developed swimmers and Water Polo players who have gone on to represent England and Great Britain at full international level. These include a current youth British record holder as well as a current GB European Championship swimmer. Many of our swimmers and athletes go on to compete at top aquatic universities for example Loughborough, Bath and Nottingham as well as studying and competing in the United States.

Our home pool is based at the superb and modern facilities of Riverside Leisure Centre however our members are drawn from across mid-Essex.

Our activities offer training for all age groups, from aged 8 to those that remain physically active in their 80s! We are professionally run by volunteers, many of whom feel a great sense of Pride and fulfilment, as well as enjoyment by contributing and giving back to their community.
