We have a number of different sections within the club, Artistic Swimming, Competitive Swimming, Just Swim (11 to 16 year olds only), Masters and Water Polo.

The swimming skills required differs greatly across the sections so we recommend you spend some time checking out the information on the section(s) that interest you, to help you decide, but you do need to be able to swim to a good level and there is also a minimum age on all squads of 7 years old

For our younger swimmers just joining a club for the first time generally you will need to have mastered the skills outlined on the Swim England Learn to Swim Stage 7 and we also suggest that you take a look at the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme as all our development squads in Competitive Swimming, Water Polo and Artistic Swimming follow the framework for the Swim England awards 8 to 10.

Please complete the Membership Application form and submit this to us and we will get back to you to let you know when the next trials are being held. Please include details of any current or past swimming lessons and level reached, distance and stroke ability on your application and if you are currently a member of another Swim England Club, your Swim England number.

Please note that we are a volunteer organisation and we are hugely grateful to everyone who gives up their time freely to help run the swimming club, but this may mean that you will not receive an immediate reply – please be patient.
